About
CROSTALK started with a loss
In 2024, I suddenly went deaf in one ear. I've been a musician my whole life, starting with guitar at twelve, then drums, saxophone, and years behind a recording console. The cruelest part wasn't the silence. It was that music went flat. The stereo sound I'd lived inside for decades collapsed to one side. Half the mix, gone.
I went looking for something built for this and found nothing that approached it as an audio problem. Nothing that handed a musician the controls. So I built it myself.
CROSTALK is a personal audio processor, not a hearing aid. It creates the illusion of stereo audio for people who hear from one side. You set the levels, you set the EQ, you decide how much of the far side comes across. Music, voices, and the room around you, in your balance. I use it every single day. It's the thing I wished existed, for anyone who listens with one dominant ear.
